DirecTV offers more International Programming in Spanish, Mandarin and Cantonese
If you or members of your family prefer programming in Spanish, DirecTV is the perfect choice. The DirecTV Para Todos service has the most comprehensive Spanish- and English-language, family-oriented entertainment, feature films and variety shows available in the United States. With 45 channels, including English-language channels with alternative Spanish audio, every member of your family will have lots of choices in television programming.
Three basic packages are available in DirecTV’s Para Todos service. They range from $33.99 to $85.99 a month. They include movie channels like Galavision and Cine Latino; news channels like Telemundo Internacional, Canal Sur and TV Chile; and commercial-free music channels featuring Latino Love Songs, Mexicana, Tejano, Canciones and more.
DirecTV also offers Jadeworld, a 5-channel package broadcast in Cantonese and Mandarin, and Phoenix TV, a 24-hour channel broadcast in Mandarin. Jadeworld includes Hong Kong daily news, TVB dramas, cartoons and more. DirecTV customers will also receive The Chinese Movie channel and more. The package is $36.99 a month. The Phoenix Channel, a 24-hour Mandarin station, offers a wide variety of programming and is only $19.99 a month.
DirecTV customers must install a multi-satellite system (an 18-inch by 20-inch satellite dish and a 18-inch by 24-inch satellite dish) to receive Jadeworld and Phoenix TV.
